Kelly O’meara: Educational Leader

We are very lucky to have Kelly as our newly appointed Educational Leader at Playstation. She has been working at Playstation for over 13 years.

Kelly has a Diploma in Early Childhood and Education and has over 30 years experience in Early Childhood, having worked in both sessional kindergarten programs and occasional care settings.

  • She has three beautiful adult daughters and in her spare time she loves playing with her granddaughter, playing netball and drinking wine. Kelly believes that Playstation is a unique centre known in the local community for its warm, friendly and nurturing environment.

Di Bentley

Di (or Dysy to us) is our longest serving staff member at Playstation, having worked here for over 22 years.

She has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Services, and believes that Playstation’s longevity is largely due to the warmth and experience of the educators.

  • Di has three beautiful adult children, two grandchildren and another grandchild due in May 2021. In her spare time, she loves playing with her granddaughters, spending time with family and eating chocolate… daily!

Momo Chang

Momo has been working at Playstation since the beginning of 2020. She is studying towards a Masters in Teaching of Primary and Early Childhood Education.

Momo believes that the most beautiful moments at Playstation are those when you see the children smiling and laughing during their play.

  • In her spare time Momo loves reading fantasy novels, singing, and going on bushwalking hikes searching for Australian wildlife.

Kerri Hendry

Kerri is in her fourth year working at Playstation, but her youngest son first attended the centre 15 years ago!

She has a Diploma in Primary Teaching and a Certificate in Education Support.

  • Kerri has four beautiful children and in her spare time she loves playing tennis (in the same team as her dad!), doing yoga, and watching her children play sport. Kerri says nothing warms your heart like hearing a child call your name because they want you to play catch or build a tower with them. She believes that Playstation’s success is due to the staff being valued by their peers and the extended Playstation community.

Katrina Langton

Katrina is our second longest serving staff member at Playstation. She has been working here for 22 years – a truly unbelievable milestone! She has a Bachelor in Primary Teaching and three beautiful adult children.

  • Her two sons attended the centre 24 years ago! In her spare time Katrina loves cooking and is always reading recipe books. She is frequently cooking meals for her children and her partners’ sons. Katrina believes that she is so fortunate to work in the Playstation environment, amongst gorgeous children and fantastic staff.

Susie Bauer-John

Susie has a long association with Playstation, where both of her children attended in the nursery and kinder rooms. She fondly recalls these times as instrumental in the foundation of her children’s learning, and love of play.

  • She joined the team of educators working across both rooms between 2013 and 2015, and has re-joined as a staff member in 2022. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Susie values the individual connections and relationships she develops with each child and family, ensuring that everyone feels valued, included and secure.

Susan Koppleman

Susan has been working at Playstation for one year. She’s a local whose own four children attended our centre. They are all growing up now, her daughter is a professional ballerina, and her sons are at uni and high school.

  • Susan has worked in nursing, was a flight attendant and trainer in the airline industry and later relished being a full time mum. Returning to work, she decided to follow her heart, thus completed Cert 3 in early child education & care and is now actively studying a Diploma in ECEC. Susan is delighted to work at Playstation where there is such support and care for the children and families from a great team of staff.

Amanda Boss

Amanda has been working at Playstation since early 2023. She has a passion for children’s wellbeing and development.

Amanda began working in the hospitality and tourism industries, a highlight was taking part in educational tours for primary school students to central Australia. She has a strong interest to learn about different cultures and places.

Amanda has been working as a personal caregiver for many wonderful families over the past eight years. She pursued her passion for children’s education by completing a Certificate three in Early Childhood Education and Care before joining our wonderful team at Playstation.

  • Amanda has a teenage daughter and enjoys spending quality time with family. Among her interest are musical performances, and being part of a Master’s Calisthenics team.

Bella Deligiannis

Bella has been working at Playstation since 2022 on a casual basis and is now be regularly working with us.

She studied a Bachelor of Commerce, however, has always had a passion to work with children. She is currently completing a Diploma in Early Education.

Her favourite part about working at Playstation is seeing the children’s smiling faces and getting warm cuddles.

  • In her spare time, Bella loves to bake delicious food for her family and friends and spends as much time outside as she can.

Yolandi Human

Yolandi has been working at Playstation from mid-2023 and has been loving every minute of it!

She used to be an Accountant but always had a passion for education and working with children.

Yolandi is now completing her Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

  • In her free time, she spends time with her beautiful family and loves to play Netball.

Bec MacDonald

Bec has her Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and is completing her Bachelor of Art Therapy.

Bec has always had a passion for working with children and has spent most of her holidays volunteering with underprivileged children.

  • In her free time, Bec enjoys painting and spending time with her cat Harmony.
